NEWTON CRADLE
The Newton’s Cradle is a large-scale, carefully engineered piece of equipment.
Features:
* Steel frame
* Six steel balls: 35 mm diameter
* Individual bifilar suspensions
* Large-scale device
* Scale printed on the base
This unique apparatus demonstrates elastic collisions better than any other device because of its sheer size and the complete absence of friction. The updated design features a scale printed on the base for quantitative experiments, and each suspension can be individually adjusted.
Teachers pull up to six balls back and let students draw the interpretations.
